World Champion SF Giants Buster Posey and Matt Cain Both To Play in 2015 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro‐Am
Monterey, California, December 1, 2014 – Famous for their three World Series titles in the past five seasons, San Francisco Giants star catcher Buster Posey and pitcher Matt Cain have both accepted invitations to play in the 2015 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro‐Am, February 9‐15.
While Cain has delighted fans at four previous tournaments, Posey is making a much‐anticipated debut in the pro‐am, which is played at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and the Monterey Peninsula Country Club’s Shore Course. Posey is an avid golfer who has played Augusta National Golf Club. Cain, who is making his fifth straight appearance in the AT&T Pro‐Am, made the cut in his first two appearances (2011‐2012).
The World Champion duo joins a field of elite PGA TOUR professionals, including Jim Furyk, Padraig Harrington and winning Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley, as well as a celebrity field with fan favorites Ray Romano, Chris O’Donnell, Don Cheadle and Andy Garcia. Jimmy Walker is the defending champion.
