Volunteer Positions

A variety of volunteer positions are required to make the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am a success. Scan the list below to find your ideal position.

  • Caddie Hospitality - Monday - Sunday. Register the caddies; distribute information, food, beverage, bibs and towels, retrieve bibs and towels, help with daily clean-up of hospitality tent. Must work a minimum of three days. Priority given to previous volunetters.
  • Champions Club - Thursday - Sunday. Serve as a host and check credentials for entrance to this hospitality venue. New volunteers considered with a recommendation from a current committee volunteer. Must work a minimum of 3 shifts. 
  • Communications - Thursday – Sunday. Coordinate all communications regarding scoring. May have to climb ladders and work on elevated platforms. Must work a minimum of 3 days
  • Corporate Village - Thursday – Sunday. Serve as a host and check credentials for entrance to this hospitality venue. Must work a minimum of 3 days. Priority given to previous committee volunteers. New volunteers considered with a recommendation from a current committee volunteer.
  • Distribution - Monday – Sunday. Move MPF office to and from tournament location, move committee supplies from MPF warehouse to their onsite locations, assist in contestant gift distribution, receive and deliver mail at the tournament, deliver headwear and gifts to volunteer committees. Must work a minimum of 4 days. 
  • Finance - Monday – Sunday. Reconcile, record and report daily ticket sales.
  • Grey Goose Lounge - Thursday – Sunday. Serve as a host, check credentials and ID for entrance to this hospitality venue. Must work a minimum of 3 shifts.
  • Honorary Observers - Thursday – Sunday. Coordinate the honorary observers that accompany designated foursomes on course.
  • Laser - Thursday – Sunday. Volunteers “shoot” each ball with a survey-grade laser. May be on an elevated platform or required to stand for long periods of time. Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred. Must work all 4 days. New volunteers are required to attend the training session either the Sunday or Wednesday before tournament play begins.
  • Marshal - Tuesday – Sunday. Promote a positive atmosphere for players and spectators, provide gallery control, locate and protect bad shots. Committee requires a minimum of 4 full days of volunteering which must include Thursday – Saturday.
  • Media Center - Thursday – Sunday. Oversee the work area and operation for all media.
  • Office Volunteers - Pretournament and tournament week. Assist with the coordination of office operations, perform various office tasks for Tournament staff and answer phones. New volunteers considered with a recommendation from a current committee volunteer. Must be able to volunteer once a week, beginning in January.
  • Official Cars/Player Shuttle - Monday - Sunday. Prepare, distribute and arrange for return of tournament vehicles. Assist in operating player, media and 10th tee shuttles. Must work a minimum of 3 days. Valid license and familiarity of local roads required. 
  • Player Hospitality - Monday – Sunday. Serve as host and check credentials for entrance to this venue. Priority given to previous committee volunteers. New volunteers considered with a recommendation from a current committee volunteer. Must work a minimum of 4 shifts (5 hours each). 
  • Player Refreshments - Monday – Sunday. Serve as host in the on-course player hospitality tents. Priority given to previous committee volunteers. New volunteers considered with a recommendation from a current committee volunteer. Must work a minimum of 3 days.
  • Player Registration - Monday – Wednesday. Complete the registration process with tournament players. Committee open ONLY to previous registration volunteers.
  • Public Safety - Monday – Sunday. Assist with the security of the tournament. Priority given to previous committee volunteers. Background in law enforcement or security is required. Must work a minimum of 3 days.
  • Skyboxes - Thursday – Sunday. Serve as a host and check credentials for entrance to this venue. New volunteers considered with a recommendation from a current committee volunteer. Must work a minimum of 3 days.
  • Special Needs Transportation - Monday – Sunday. Assist in transporting persons with special needs between the parking area and the golf courses. Must work a minimum of 3 days
  • Spectator Transportation - Monday – Sunday. Provide assistance and direction to spectators using tournament shuttle system.
  • Ticket Sales & Will Call - Pretournament Saturday – tournament week Sunday. Sell tickets at various locations. Check identification of those patrons picking up tickets at Will Call. Must work a minimum of 3 days.
  • Volunteer Hospitality - Monday – Sunday. Check credentials for entrance to the hospitality tent, serve food and beverages to tournament volunteers, help with set up of evening parties. Must work a minimum of 3 days.
  • Walking Scorer - Thursday – Sunday. Record statistics and scores using the Palm Pilot system. Must be able to walk all 18 holes and have golf knowledge. Required to score at least one round each day.
