Each month, Monterey Peninsula Foundation will select a volunteer, nominated by their peers, who exemplifies community engagement and participates with other events and organizations. This ‘Community Hero’ will be someone who goes above and beyond to make our community a better place to live, work and raise our families. To recognize their volunteerism, Monterey Peninsula Foundation will donate $1,000 to a current nonprofit grantee selected by the volunteer.
