New Venues for Gallery, Special Events Add To Party Atmosphere For 2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Week, Feb. 4-10

Monterey, California, January 9, 2019 – New venues are in place for spectators to enjoy the world’s best golfers and a star-studded lineup of sports and entertainment personalities at the 2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the original and longest-running celebrity event on the PGA TOUR, Feb. 4-10 at three of the Monterey Peninsula’s world-class golf courses.

The 2019 tournament features a $7.4 million purse PGA TOUR event played over Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course for three rounds, Thursday through Saturday, with Sunday’s final round at Pebble Beach.

Prior to tournament play, The Million Dollar Hole-in-One for Charity presented by Facebook is Wednesday, Feb. 6, at a new location this year – the 17th hole at Pebble Beach Golf Links, to provide easier access and enhanced viewing opportunities. The fourth edition of the popular contest features 30 members of the tournament celebrity field trying to win money for their charity of choice, with the opportunity to ultimately win $1 million with a hole-in-one. No player has yet won $1 million. Starting at 2:30 p.m., the event previously was held on the 7th hole at Pebble Beach.

Also moving is The View presented by Grey Goose, the fan-friendly hospitality venue with arguably the most scenic setting in golf. It will relocate to the newly expanded Triangle Plaza high on top of the ridge above the sixth and eighth holes at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Popular for its 180-degree view of Carmel Bay and the Pebble Beach coastline, the expansive indoor/outdoor suite features signature Grey Goose cocktails, beer and wine, with a selection of various food for purchase nearby. A special hospitality ticket to The View is required for access.

Debuting this year is the vineyard vines club, a new hospitality venue, open to all spectators, overlooking the 10th Green at Pebble Beach Golf Links. The spacious, open-air deck features relaxed seating and panoramic ocean views, with a select menu of specialty snacks, beer and wine for purchase. There will be live entertainment starting at 1:30 p.m. each day of competition, plus a large screen to broadcast afternoon tournament coverage.

Clint’s Saloon, an indoor/outdoor hospitality suite named for tournament icon Clint Eastwood, will hold down its position above the dogleg on the third fairway at Pebble Beach. A Clint’s Saloon Daily Ticket is required for access to the venue and includes lunch, afternoon snacks, beer, and wine.

One of the most exciting events on the PGA TOUR, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is hosted by the Monterey Peninsula Foundation, which donated $12.8 million to support local nonprofits in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties during the 2017-2018 fiscal year.

This year’s star-studded list of competitors is led by past champions Phil Mickelson (1998, 2005, 2007, 2012), Dustin Johnson (2009, 2010), Brandt Snedeker (2013, 2015),  and Jordan Spieth (2017), along with British Ryder Cup hero Tommy Fleetwood and long-driving rookie Cameron Champ.

NFL quarterback Matt Ryan is a newcomer to the tournament, joining a roster of fan favorites that includes actors Ray Romano, Chris O’Donnell and Josh Duhamel, as well as musical entertainers Jake Owen, Huey Lewis, Toby Keith, and Clay Walker.
