FORMAT: Five, two-person teams consisting of one AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am past champion and one champion from the world of sports

The $100,000 event featured past AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am champions competing with champions from the National Football League. Each hole was worth $10,000, split between partners ($5,000 each) going to the respective charities of their choice.

All nine holes of regulation were halved. The prize money was carried over to a playoff. On the final putt of the playoff, D.A. Points – cheered on by a group of Salinas City Elementary School District third graders – made an ace worth $60,000.
